This is my WIP of the character Voldemort from the Harry Potter series, my son wanted me to draw him. At least it keeps with the bad guy theme my gallery tends to have.
It's has been a bit difficult drawing lately as I haven't been that well, but thought I try and get back into it anyway. Hopefully I will be able to get this finished soon, providing I have more good days than bad ones.
Aw thanks Bro! I needed that! I have a heap to go on it though, lot of detail to add not to mention his slits(nose) and his wide open mouth showing all his teeth! ARRHHH! Hopefully it will look even better soon! Thanks so much for making me feel better about it, missed you lately! Speak soon!

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "...holy sh*t ...what a ride!"
This is really good Sal! Can´t wait to see the result.. You can still get that glowing light in the picture, the 3-dim effect. Is this on mdf board too, and what pencils do you use to get the background so dark?
Your welcome hey i miss you too, look forward to the finished result man Sal your son is gonna treasure this baddie just look at him already!I think he is gonna give your Darth and Davy a run hahahaha
Thanks Aniren, hopefully it will continue to be good once I've finished it, but I am a fair few hours of that at the moment.
Yep it's on MDF and I used a mix of pencils in the background, right from 6H to 9B, it just matters how hard you press, and on board you can alot harder than you can on paper.

Thank you so much! Hopefully I shall finish it soon for you, I have the nose, or what ever it is almost done so it might only be a few more days, it depends on how much time my kids give me to draw but.
Cheers again! "D

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
