Peter Brock otherwise known as "The King of the Mountain" but to most Aussie's he's simply called "Brocky". He was one of Australia's most popular and successful motor racing drivers. In his huge career Brock was mostly associated with Holden, although he pretty much raced anything that could be raced.
Unfortunately he was instantly killed in an accident motor racing on September 8th 2006.
in Australia, even if you don't watch an ounce of motor car racing, you still know who Peter Brock is!
This is my first car drawing...it was extremely painful, too many line to follow...but with that being said, I have an awesome Mustang pic I think I might draw too!
That's a great piece of work! Your lines are confident, and the stance is spot on! Great use of value changes to show the planes and contours of the body! In particular, those little highlights on the side really sell the illusion of the cars shaded side. I love the traditional car art, and hope you will draw that Mustang!
Thank you Josh! That's an awesome compliment! Realism, is my main goal everytime I draw. Cheers my friend. by the way, how are you these days? Are you feeling better?
Cheers Chris! WOOHOO it's finally done, have a bit of book work to finish for the Hubby before I start my Jacko, however I may just get some time this afternoon to draw for a bit....hopefully!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
